Built so your files can't leak
Security isn't a feature we bolted on — it shapes every part of how CloudStore stores and serves your data.
- Encrypted at rest with per-file keys. Every file gets its own AES-256-GCM key, itself encrypted by a master key held outside the database.
- Tamper detection. Authenticated encryption means any modified byte is detected and the download is refused.
- No passwords to steal. Sign in with Google; sessions are httpOnly, SameSite-strict cookies that you can revoke from every device at once.
- Strict isolation. Every request is checked against the file owner. Admins manage plans and accounts, but there's no way for them to open your files.
- Hardened web layer. Strict Content-Security-Policy, CSRF protection, rate limiting, HSTS, and files always served as downloads so nothing uploaded can run in your browser.
- Full audit trail. Sign-ins, downloads, deletions and admin actions are all logged.
